Riyadh Power Plant No.12 Combined Cycle (2,175 MW)

Education Qualification:

He shall have a university degree or equivalent and seven (7) years inspection experience or diploma with 10 years inspection experience with a minimum three (3) years directly relating to supervision of vendor inspection activities in the Contract Scope of WORK (e.g.; oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication). Aramco approved (SAP No available) is mandatory.

Skills and Expertise

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review Material Requisitions and purchase orders for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Verify all Inspection requirements are included in MR and applicable SAMSS, SAEPs, as per Saudi Aramco requirements.
  • Shall check all Saudi Inspection related comments are well incorporated in MR. Any violation to the requirements shall be immediately discussed with QA Manager and If necessary shall issue internal NCR to prevent the issue from re-occurrence
  • Shall monitor the implementation of No-Objection Practice on P.O by Saudi Aramco. He will perform internal check of P.Os for the vendor/stockiest selected as per procurement process flow. Only after No-Objective received from Saudi Aramco supplier can begin the work
  • Shall coordinate with inspectors or Inspection agencies assigned for the inspection activities for the P.O material.
  • Shall Inspection reports and all observations and findings and shall discuss with Inspector If any clarification required. Inspection report shall be forwarded to VID. If there is any violation and NCR to be raised then Inspector shall discuss the issue with Procurement QC and issue NCR.
  • Shall forward the NCR to Saudi Aramco VID and shall follow-up with vendor and Inspector for the corrective actions on NCR. VID shall be kept informed. The proposed corrective action shall be agreed with VID as per NCR process flow Appendix V.
  • Preparation of Inspection assignment packages( IAP’s)
  • Regularly give update the compliance status of Procurement QC function to QA manager
  • Review of sub-vendors quality procedures
  • Establish agenda for pre-inspection meetings
  • Review and Submit NMR's /IDR's Packages
  • Scheduling and coordination of source inspection
  • Ensure inspection assignment packages are correctly distributed
  • Equipment / Material Inspection, Levels as per SAES 1151
  • Preparation of Final Disposition Report(FDR)
  • Assist QC inspectors in all aspects of their work to ensure that all project requirements are fulfilled and that all inspections required are carried out and correctly recorded.
  • Coordinate with Procurement QC Supervisor to ensure Material Technical for approval submitted to VID and follow all open issues till approved/closed.
  • Coordinate with PQS to ensure accurate NMRs/IAPs are timely submitted to Saudi Aramco for review and approval.
  • Ensure P.O Copy is reviewed and approved by QA Manager, PQS and get clearance from Saudi aramco
  • Preparing Weekly Fabrication Status reports & Submitting two weeks look ahead schedule and submit to saudi aramco VID.
  • Supervise and Monitor activities of Procurement  and Material controller to ensure planned activities are moving as per Saudi Aramco requirements for timely delivery.
  • Jointly review with Project Manager, Project QA Manager the compliance of the work as per SAMSS, SAES, SAEP and Quality requirements specified in the project scope of work & as per Schedule Q.
  • To investigate the Root Causes with manufacturer and vendors and jointly review with PQS and engineering the recommended solutions to prevent recurrence of the Non Conformance.
