Super Rush Project Al-Qassim Power Plant is Awarded to Arabian Bemco

Super Rush Project Al-Qassim Power Plant is Awarded to Arabian BemcoAl-Qassim Power Plant is an extension project of the existing plant by increasing the plant capacity with 224 MW by adding 4 Gas Turbines on a super rush basis and the total project value is S.R 1,084,048,342.

The Contract was signed on the 12th of January, 2010 by Mr. Henry Sarkissian, CEO of Arabian Bemco and Mr. Ali S. Al-Barrak, CEO & President of Saudi Electricity COmpany.

This super rush program will be completed by June 2010.

Arabian Bemco has long experience in fast track projects where they have executed Power Plant No. 9 Block-E Project (480 MW) for SEC in a record time of 7.5 Months in 2004 to meet the power requirement of SEC customers in Riyadh.
